It’s the release of DAYDREAM SOMMELIER!
‘Daydream Sommelier’ marks J.R.Proctor’s first release of original music. While his songs are rooted in the folk tradition – and are influenced by his time spent performing bluegrass and old-time music – he explores themes that extend beyond the confines of any particular genre.
Helping him bring these songs to life are the DAYDREAMERS: Miles Zurawell (steel guitar); Peter Mynett (bass); James Higgins (drums); and Mercy Walker (vocals).

We’re excited to announce special guest ANDALUSIA:
Songwriting has always been a cathartic process for Chad Gilmour, a way for him to isolate and understand his often conflicting thoughts and emotions. After beginning his career in his early twenties in Ottawa he moved to Vancouver in 2011 determined to develop himself as a songwriter and performer. In 2012 he helped form the band Year of the Wolf and then in 2016 The Long War winners of the 2017 CBC Searchlight. He is now preparing for his first release of exclusively solo materially under a new moniker inspired by the name of his grandfather’s small hometown in Southern Alabama, Andalusia. As a songwriter he draws from the folk music traditions of authentic story telling, sharing his experiences with love, loss, and change. Andalusia subscribes to the philosophy that songwriting should be so deeply personal that it becomes universal, intent on creating a genuine connection with his audience. Being raised by a devout Christian mother and an alcoholic father we hear the internal struggle in his music as he walks the line between these two worlds. Borrowing from the established sounds of country music Andalusia creates simple and beautiful music that compliments his words and melody.
Joining Chad Gilmour will be Hannah Walker.
